Husband made a gnocchi spinach thing except used matzah ball soup mix instead of potato dimpling mix. Taste delish, texture was off but acceptable.
Lesson - cook only when there's little food left in the fridge. We both didn't realize how much we already had, so actually I probably could have just not cooked & did something creative with all our leftovers. Oh well. Cook & learn.
I am determined to become a master chef at some classic Filipino dishes. Only my taste buds and experiments will tell. I'm proud to say I'm pretty awesome already at rice. Got to start somewhere. Maybe I'll try something more basic next time.
